Alfa Romeo 145 and 146 Spare Parts (Type 930A and 930B, 1994 to 2000)
With the Alfa Romeo 145 and its five door sister model 146 the brand took the leap into the modern Twin Spark generation of the compact segment in the mid nineties. Both models replaced the long running bestseller Alfa Romeo 33 and used the Tipo Due platform developed within the Fiat group. They were built at the Pomigliano d'Arco plant. Between 1994 and 2000 a total of 221,037 145s and 233,295 146s were produced. Our range covers original spare parts and carefully selected reproductions for both body styles and all engine options, from the early boxer engines to the Twin Spark inline four cylinders and the 1.9 JTD common rail diesels.
The History of the 930 Series
In April 1994 Alfa Romeo introduced the three door Alfa 145 at the Turin Motor Show, with European sales starting in September. Its design was created by Chris Bangle, then working for Centro Stile Fiat. The five door variant 146 followed in November 1994 at the Bologna Motor Show, with its body designed by Centro Stile Alfa Romeo under Walter de Silva. With the December 1996 update Alfa Romeo replaced the initially used longitudinally mounted boxer engines from the Alfa 33 with transversely mounted Twin Spark inline four cylinders with twin ignition and four valve technology. Performance, fuel consumption and gearshift quality improved considerably as a result. Production ended in late 2000 with the launch of the Alfa Romeo 147 as successor.

Body and Technology
The bodies of both models share all components from the B pillar forward, while from the B pillar rearward the 145 is a hatchback and the 146 a five door saloon with hinted notchback. The chassis follows the proven layout of MacPherson struts at the front and trailing arm axle at the rear. The body was partially galvanised, providing significantly better corrosion protection than on the predecessor models. Special editions such as the 145 Edizione Sportiva and the 145 Limited 500 completed the range towards the end of the production run.
